Science LionPride is dedicated to representing the Pennsylvania State University and the Eberly College of Science. A group of enthusiastic students studying science, we welcome a diverse group of students to explore the opportunities within Eberly. We work to foster friendships and provide opportunities to celebrate our hard work as well as to promote three cardinal values that define our mission: service, passion, and pride.
Our Goals.
Recruitment. Students in our club work diligently to provide insight to prospective students about what it means to be both an undergraduate student within Penn State and the Eberly College of Science. Students within the club are able to share their unique experiences as well as to inform prospective students and their families about Penn State and Eberly in several ways of which include guided tours, the Eberly College of Science Open House, and accepted student days. Alumni. Opportunities to interact and network between Penn State alumni and Eberly students are made possible through several alumni events which include alumni weekend, formal dinners, and conferences.
Service. Science LionPride also works to foster a sense of community through several service events throughout the year of which include Habitat for Humanity, Relay for Life, Science Discovery Day, and Penn State's very own THON. You can learn more about events for Recruitment, Alumni, and Service by visiting their respective pages.
